In the process of urbanization, the treatment of municipal solid waste is not only related to the cleanliness of the urban environment but also affects the quality of life of residents and the sustainable development of cities. GEP Ecotech is committed to providing efficient and environmentally friendly MSW treatment solutions driven by innovative technology.
Detailed Process Description
Our process flow takes into account the physical properties of waste and treatment requirements, achieving efficient waste treatment and resource utilization through a series of well-designed steps:
1. Primary Shredding
Raw MSW is first conveyed into a dual-shaft shear shredder. This equipment is specifically designed to break bags, disperse, and shred materials, effectively reducing the size of the materials and laying the foundation for subsequent treatment steps.
2. Magnetic Separation
The crushed material then passes through a magnetic separation system suspended above a conveyor belt, separating ferrous metals. This step not only improves resource recovery rates but also generates additional economic value for operations, achieving a win-win situation for both economic and environmental benefits.
3. Trommel Screen
The material then enters a drum screener, separating out food waste, small ceramic utensils, glass, and some stones and slag. This step helps further separate different components of the waste, facilitating subsequent treatment and ensuring the efficiency and specificity of the process.
4. Air Separation
The screen overflow enters an air separator, where light and heavy materials are separated by air flow. This process allows the light materials to be further processed, while the heavy materials are conveyed out for subsequent resource utilization. Air separation not only improves the purity of the materials but also provides possibilities for subsequent precision processing.
5. Fine Shredding and RDF Formation
The material after magnetic separation enters a single-shaft fine shredder, where the particle size is controlled, and the material is then fed into an RDF briquette machine. Through high-temperature extrusion technology, the material is processed into RDF fuel bars, achieving the energy utilization of waste. This step not only improves the utilization efficiency of waste but also provides a new energy option for the city.
Process Flow
Through this optimized process flow, GEP Ecotech ensures that urban MSW is treated efficiently and environmentally, maximizing the recovery and utilization of resources. Our goal is to provide greener and more sustainable waste treatment solutions for cities through technological innovation.
